Latest entry in Search – Cuil
Former Google Engineers unveiled a new Web Search Service called Cuil (Pronounced as Cool). Performance of a Search Engine is calculated based on the Relevancy of Search, Content Coverage, Content Freshness, Diversity of Results and User Experience. Evaluating the performance of Cuil comparing with the Search Majors Google, Yahoo and Msn, Cuil’s performance metrics stands far below the standards of Major Search Engines.
Moreover Cuil.com doesnt permit wide variety of Standard power search options like site:, intitle, inurl:,negative keywords etc., making it impossible to measure the size of indexing. Bunch of Search results throws up 404 errors also. So i hope this is not the right time for Cuil to launch and get the market share as the intial buzz has a greater potential to capture the market.
